School Objectives
- To provide a stimulating, purposeful, safe and secure environment, enabling all children
to develop academically and logically in a cheerful atmosphere.
- To make students realise that striving for excellence, academic or otherwise, must
be the goal in life.
- To understand that each student is a unique individual with rights and responsibilities.
- To educate students about the importance of working in a team.
- To make education a partnership between teachers, parents and students.
- To help students respect environment and feel the need to protect and preserve nature.
- To help students realise that learning is an on going experience and thus become
lifelong learners.
- To impart value based education that helps in character- building and personality
development of students and contributes to making them responsible Indians, good
human beings, and prepares them for their future role as important global citizens.
School Houses
The school is divided into four houses: KABIR, SAPRU, TAGORE & TILAK. The house system in the school occupies a prominent place, and it plays an important role in the promotion of co- curricular activities. Each student of the school is allotted a particular house. Each house is under the able guidance of the house captain and is assisted by a vice captain. Teacher wardens supervise the functioning of the houses.
Student Council
Student council forms the second line of administration. Every department has its own council, which comprises of prefects and house captains.The entire council is under the Head Boy, Joint Head Boy and Head Girl and Joint Head Girl.
